Peninsular Divide Media License

We want Peninsular Divide to be shared with the world — through stories, photos, and videos. To make it clear and fair for everyone, we have two types of Media Licenses:

1. General Media License : For anyone using official Peninsular Divide media (our photos/videos).

2. Outside Media License : For participants who bring their own photographer or videographer during the race.

1. General Media License

What You Can Do

  • Use our official photos and videos for personal, editorial, or promotional purposes (news, blogs, social media, documentaries, etc.).
  • Edit and adapt content (crop, colour, cut for video, etc.) as long as you don’t change the meaning of the event.
  • Share freely as long as the event is represented truthfully.

What You Cannot Do

  • Sell or resell our media as standalone products.
  • Use media in a way that is offensive, misleading, or unlawful.
  • Suggest official sponsorship/endorsement by Peninsular Divide without written approval.
  • Hide or remove event branding in a way that misrepresents the race.

 2. Outside Media License

We know some participants want to bring their own photographers or videographers. That’s allowed — but only with an Outside Media License.

Rules for Media Teams
